Risk Management
Risk Management is only the beginning of every program we operate. Mind you, we are responsible for hundreds of beating hearts week to week during a school season, and thousands during a given week of Summer. We are proud to wave the Viristar Risk Management flag, a 40 hour course on safety systems for outdoor programs. Furthermore, all of our locations, destinations, and providers, are regularly vetted and assessed using our scrutinous standards.
Staff
Staff Training and hiring standards are essential in our business. Outside of our full-time team of 70+, we are fortunate to have a strong freelancer network of indoctrinated and trained camp professionals ready for any program week to week. We offer quarterly leadership and director training & summits, meanwhile managing summer staff of over 5000 adults.
Supervision
We strongly believe we have the most sophisticated approach to camper care in our China summer camp business as well as our school programs. Thanks to our background in Camp, we have developed a supervision system that leaves no child behind. Beyond the physical well-being of our participants, our students’ social & emotional needs are of a top priority. High ratios of staff on projects help maintain strong supervision and care.
